Hello and welcome to Oldham Foodbank.

tel. 0161-622-1061
The Foodbank is open at the following times:
Monday CLOSED
Tuesday 11.00 - 2.00
Wednesday 11.00 - 2.00
Thursday 11.00 - 2.00
Friday 11.00 - 4.00
Saturday CLOSED
Sunday CLOSED
The building was previously a public house (but alas no longer serves beer!) and is now in the process of being converted for its new role. The Foodbank provides a number of valuable services for the community and the purpose of this blog is to tell you about these various developments as they take place.
Obviously the Foodbank provides essential foodstuffs for those who have been directed here by different agencies. In addition the centre aims to supply a variety of extras and treats when possible.
There are a small number of computers to enable clients to undertake job searches, complete online forms, check e mail accounts and contact agencies who might be able to offer assistance in a number of areas.
The foodbank operates through a referral system and everyone who comes to the foodbank for emergency food needs to have a valid voucher issued by one of the local agencies with whom we work.
